The story of Yi Cheng Trading started in 2002 when I was a young man of 28. Just quitted from an honorable job as a engineer with a MNC. Penniless, I went in search for the greatest challenge any young man would dream of - building a business of my own.

I started as a self proprietor with only US$400, sold my first Hero 336 fountain pen for US$8 on ebay. At that time, I do not have the basic knowledge of setting up my own website, no money to own a digital camera and have no basic US bank account to clear money order or cheque.. All my transactions are in cash.

Came 2003, this year I encountered many problems - cash stolen in mail, customer¡¯s complaint, package lost, temporary suspended ebay account and web hosting. Nevertheless, all these experiences, good and bad, trained me to work in the direction of customer¡¯s satisfaction and the success of our business. We listen, respect, understand and learn as much as I can from my customer.

Today, 2007, Yi Cheng is one of the biggest suppliers of Oriental Fountain Pens in Singapore. I have my own suppliers in Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Shanghai. I have also employed three lady workers to work for me. Our greatest strength lies in understanding your needs. We believe mutual respect, love and a common passion is the key to our success tomorrow.
