| This is a wonderfully made patented Pilot demonstrator fountain pen. I will explain to you why you need to get this pen. First the Pilot Custom 823 is a pen that delivers well in excess of its rather simple looks. In many ways, it presents surprises at every turn, and by the time you're finished spending a day or two with one, you wonder how you ever managed to dismiss it as plain. The Bad News about this Pilot Custom 823 is not going to be something that you can just pop into the corner shop and pick up. Not if you're here in the U.S., at any rate! These pens appear to be for sale in the Japanese market only, which means that getting one here in the States involves a bit of work.
I like this pen because i am a frequent traveller between Singapore and China and its transparent surfaces allows me to know if i have sufficient ink to last for my whole journey. Furthermore my pens allows leaks when plane is taking off. With this pilot 823,no more leaking as it offers a double ink reservoir with a locked in system. You only have enough ink to write with a huge back up ink system. |
